Lampung Food Price Update Today: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Sunday, January 28, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (28/1/2024) at 12:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, garlic cloves, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, Indian mackerel, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase of Rp160 (1.09%) to Rp14,810 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp810 (2.84%) to Rp27,670 per kg.
