Latest Food Prices in West Java: Salt Up, Onions Down (Sunday, March 10, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (10/3/2024) at 09.04 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) commodities surged the highest by Rp750 (6.53%) to Rp12,230 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the most by Rp3,470 (11.58%) to Rp26,500 per kg.

7. Milkfish: Rp36,990 per kg (down 2.48%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,220 per kg (down 0.55%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp32,220 per kg (up 1.03%)
10. Shallots: Rp26,500 per kg (down 11.58%)
