Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Wheat Flour Prices Down (Thursday, November 30, 2023)

Food prices in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, at 3 PM WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 saw price increases and 5 saw price decreases.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by 5.98% or Rp3,430, reaching Rp60,810 per kg.

Next, shallots and red chilies increased by 2.35% or Rp600 to Rp26,090 per kg and 1.22% or Rp1,000 to Rp82,960 per kg, respectively.

The price of mackerel increased by Rp400 or 1.03% to Rp39,150 per kg, and the price of garlic bulbs increased by Rp190 or 0.6% to Rp31,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), and pure beef experienced price decreases compared to yesterday.

The price of bulk wheat flour decreased by 1.54% or Rp150 to Rp9,570 per kg, the lowest price decrease today in Yogyakarta.

Broiler chicken is priced at Rp30,970 per kg, down 0.67%; imported dry soybeans decreased to Rp12,660 per kg from Rp12,720 per kg; and pure beef decreased by Rp590 to Rp134,930 per kg.
