South Sumatra Food Prices, Tuesday (29/10): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (29/10/2024) at 17.20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, milkfish, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallots, Indian mackerel, red chilies, and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp320 (1.45%) to Rp22,330 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price decrease of Rp250 (0.86%) to Rp28,890 per kg.
