Indonesia Food Price List Today: Sugar and Onion Prices Rise (Tuesday, April 2, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (April 2, 2024) at 11:35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 saw price increases and 4 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, pure beef, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,530 (3.3%) to Rp47,960 per kg. Bulk cooking oil saw the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp80 (0.5%) to Rp15,800 per liter.
