Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (23/12/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, SPHP rice, medium rice, broiler chicken, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, premium rice, shallots, iodized fine salt, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, by Rp4,380 (8.14%) to Rp58,190 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices decreased the most, by Rp530 (4.48%) to Rp11,290 per kg.
