These Are the 10 Cities with the Highest Monthly Inflation in September 2022

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported domestic inflation of 1.17% (month-to-month/m-to-m) in September 2022, up from the previous month. The consumer price index (CPI) rose to 112.87 last month.

Bukittinggi had the highest inflation rate in September 2022, reaching 1.87% (m-to-m) with a CPI of 114.45.

The next highest inflation rates were recorded in Kupang at 1.82% (m-to-m), followed by Palopo at 1.74% (m-to-m), Singkawang at 1.6% (m-to-m), and Kudus at 1.65% (m-to-m).

Following these were Pontianak with inflation of 1.58% (m-to-m) in September 2022, then Dumai at 1.57% (m-to-m), Pekanbaru at 1.56% (m-to-m), Banjarmasin at 1.56% (m-to-m), and Surabaya at 1.52% (m-to-m).
