Current Food Prices in Bali: Red Chili Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (October 19, 2025) at 10.23 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include large red chilies, broiler chicken meat, packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (imported), bulk wheat flour, consumption sugar, garlic bulbs, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices jumped the highest by Rp833 (2.27%) to Rp37,500 per kg. Meanwhile, consumption salt prices dropped the deepest by Rp342 (3.1%) to Rp10,700 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,357 per kg (up 0.01%)
9. Shallots: Rp32,100 per kg (down 0.77%)
10. Garlic Bulbs: Rp31,850 per kg (down 0.33%)
