Food Prices Friday (17/10) in West Java: Beef, Egg, and Rice Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (October 17, 2025) at 08:44 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 8 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with price increases are premium rice, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, SPHP rice, red onion, consumption salt, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel fish commodity jumped the highest by Rp2,654 (6.32%) to Rp44,615 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp6,650 (11.45%) to Rp51,429 per kg.

5. Mackerel Fish: Rp44,615 per kg (up 6.32%)
6. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp39,286 per kg (down 1.94%)
7. Milkfish: Rp38,923 per kg (up 3.89%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,917 per kg (down 3.92%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp37,000 per kg (up 1.5%)
