Current Food Prices in Jambi: Chili Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (22/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, shallots, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices surged the highest by Rp220 (1.87%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most by Rp2,120 (6.57%) to Rp30,170 per kg.
