Latest Food Prices in Banten Region: Salt Prices Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (16/11/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 increased and 18 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were packaged wheat flour, consumption sugar, fresh buffalo meat (local), dry soybean seeds (imported), and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, red onions, broiler eggs, red bird's eye chilies, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt prices surged the highest by Rp126 (1.29%) to Rp9,909 per kg. Red onion prices, however, saw the deepest drop of Rp1,750 (4.19%) to Rp40,000 per kg.
