Current Food Prices in West Java: Beef Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (2/8/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,090 (2.31%) to Rp136,810 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel decreased the most, by Rp4,770 (12.22%) to Rp34,280 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,680 per kg (down 0.82%)
