Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, and Anies Baswedan are three names vying for the presidential candidacy in the 2024 Presidential Election. They also hold the highest electability in various surveys.
Prabowo Subianto, who ran in the 2019 election, is running again with his party, Gerindra. Together with PKB, Gerindra formed the Great Indonesia Awakening Coalition on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
Ganjar Pranowo, the Governor of Central Java, was recently declared as the PDI-P presidential candidate by Megawati Soekarnoputri, the party's chairwoman, on Friday, April 21, 2023. The PPP has joined this coalition.

Aside from the ongoing political maneuvering, it's important to know the track record of the presidential candidates before they are actually elected. One aspect that shouldn't be overlooked is their assets and debts.
Through the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN), Databoks has compiled the assets and debts of the three presidential candidates from 2021-2022.
The results show that Prabowo Subianto has the most assets, totaling Rp 2.03 trillion in the 2022 reporting period, reported on Friday, March 31, 2023.
The Minister of Defense's assets consist of land and buildings (Rp 275.3 billion); transportation and machinery (Rp 1.25 billion); other movable assets (Rp 16.4 billion); securities (Rp 1.7 trillion); cash and cash equivalents (Rp 2.52 billion); and other assets (Rp 45 billion).
In total, Prabowo's assets actually reach Rp 2.04 trillion, but this must be reduced by debts of Rp 8 billion. Therefore, his net worth is calculated at Rp 2.03 trillion.
Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo has assets totaling Rp 11.77 billion as of 2021, reported on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
The details are: land and buildings (Rp 2.62 billion); transportation and machinery (Rp 1.62 billion); and cash and cash equivalents (Rp 6.8 billion). Ganjar has no securities and no debts.
