Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Friday, January 26, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (26/1/2024) at 2:23 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler eggs, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, broiler chicken, red chili peppers, milkfish, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase of Rp1,140 (3.39%) to Rp34,720 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies saw the lowest decrease of Rp1,080 (2.64%) to Rp39,790 per kg.
