Food Prices in Banten, Friday (27/12): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, shallots, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, fine iodized salt, farmer-level corn, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp4,110 (6.99%), reaching Rp62,940 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp470 (5.58%), reaching Rp7,960 per kg.
