Jambi Food Prices Sunday (Oct 5): Red Chili Up, Salt Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (5/10/2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were red onions, SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, large red chili, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, medium rice, milkfish, corn at the farmer level, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp4,000 (6.82%) to Rp62,667 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna price fell the deepest by Rp864 (2.66%) to Rp31,621 per kg.
