Daily Prices of Chicken Eggs at Traditional Markets in East Java Province Increased by 0.36% in the Last Month

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets in East Java Province is recorded at Rp28,050. This price is up Rp150 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp27,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets in East Java over the past three months has increased by 8.51% from the previously recorded price of Rp25,850.

The record high for the daily price of chicken eggs in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2016 with an increase of 27.7%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2017 with a decrease of -22.2%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Java show 12 commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Eggs, Medium-Sized Red Onions, Garlic, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Premium Quality Sugar, Local Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Sugar, and Large Red Chili.

5. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp73,800/kg (up 4.46%)
6. Garlic per Kg Rp51,200/kg (down 3.31%)
7. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp45,350/kg (up 0.78%)
8. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 per Kg Rp20,100/kg (up 0.25%)
9. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg Rp20,450/kg (up 1.24%)
