Daily Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets, February 2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province is recorded at Rp21,100. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly unchanged over the last week.

Compared to the price a month ago, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets has increased from Rp20,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets over the last three months in South Kalimantan has decreased by 0.71%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp21,250.

The record high for the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2022 with an increase of 18.14%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2019 with a decrease of -8.42%.

PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Kalimantan recorded three commodities decreasing and ten others increasing. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chili, Beef, and Bird's Eye Chili.
