The daily price of low-quality grade II rice in Central Java's modern markets increased by 1.15% over the last month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:23 PM WIB, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Central Java Province showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

However, compared to the price a month ago, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets has increased from the previous record of Rp13,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Central Java over the past three months has decreased by 1.13%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Central Java Province is traded at Rp13,300 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in this province was in November 2023, with an increase of 12.12%, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in November 2023, at -13.16%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Central Java today show nine commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Super I Quality Rice, Grade I Low-Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Grade I Medium Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Grade II Medium Quality Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Beef, and Rice.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Central Java Province:
