Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at 09:46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, dry imported soybeans, SPHP rice, milkfish, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, pure beef, shallots, granulated sugar, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,350 (11.4%) to Rp42,500 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp2,040 (12.75%) to Rp13,960 per kg.

5. Garlic Bulbs: Rp34,500 per kg (down 5.4%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp34,000 per kg (down 1.62%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,500 per kg (down 3.07%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,000 per kg (up 0.85%)
9. Shallots: Rp21,450 per kg (down 11.11%)
