Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chilies, Chicken Meat, and Rice Decrease

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia today is observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (29/10/2024) at 10:50 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, shallots, SPHP rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, curly red chilies, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

SPHP rice saw the highest price increase of Rp120 (0.98%) to Rp12,350 per kg. Red chilies experienced the largest price drop of Rp830 (2.3%) to Rp35,220 per kg.

6. Red Chilies: Rp35,220 per kg (down 2.3%)
