China is one of the countries with the largest military might in the world. Based on data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the Bamboo Curtain country's military budget in 2018 was Rp 3,549.96 trillion, with an exchange rate of Rp 14,200 per US dollar. This figure is the largest in Asia and the second largest in the world after the US.
