Current Food Prices in Bali: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (7/9/2024) at 12.57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, medium rice, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp2,390 (19.67%) to Rp14,540 per kg. Red chilies saw the largest price decrease of Rp470 (1.39%) to Rp33,320 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,140 per kg (up 1.78%)
