Bali Food Prices Monday (8/7): Beef and Chili Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (8/7/2024) at 15.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, mackerel, pure beef, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, fine iodized salt, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,810 (4.51%) to Rp41,900 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots decreased the most sharply by Rp1,040 (3.9%) to Rp25,640 per kg.
