Latest Food Prices in Aceh: Chicken Meat, Eggs, and Red Chili Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (4/9/2025) at 11:04 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 16 increased and 8 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include garlic bulbs, curly red chili, pure beef, broiler chicken meat, and Minyakita cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity saw the highest jump of Rp4,014 (7.04%) to Rp61,000 per kg. Meanwhile, farmer-level corn prices dropped most significantly by Rp7,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
