Food Prices in West Java on Thursday (6/6): Egg and Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (6/6/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, red chili peppers, pure beef, curly red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp3,540 (9.21%) to Rp41,990 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp5,580 (15.18%) to Rp31,180 per kg.

7. Mackerel: Rp34,050 per kg (down 14.49%)
8. Milkfish: Rp32,930 per kg (down 12.42%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,180 per kg (down 15.18%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,090 per kg (down 1.61%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,750 per kg (down 0.67%)
