Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Red Chili Prices Rise, Salt Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (20/10/2025) at 11:00 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were large red chili, bulk cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), milkfish, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, broiler eggs, consumption sugar, pure beef, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chili jumped the highest by Rp9,333 (17.39%) to Rp63,000 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices fell the deepest by Rp531 (1.55%) to Rp33,688 per kg.
