Today's Food Prices in West Java: Onions Up, Eggs Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (7/6/2024) at 13:21 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, fine iodized salt, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up Rp90 (1.69%) to Rp5,400 per kg. The lowest price decrease was for chicken eggs, down Rp420 (1.47%) to Rp28,180 per kg.
