Aceh Food Prices on Saturday (May 4th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (4/5/2024) at 15:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, red chilies, milkfish, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp10,000 (20.0%) to Rp60,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of skipjack tuna decreased the most by Rp2,320 (7.57%) to Rp28,310 per kg.
