Current Food Prices in Jambi: Egg, Onion, and Oil Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (6/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), pure beef, red chili peppers, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp1,130 (5.59%) to Rp21,360 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt saw the largest decrease, dropping by Rp720 (6.1%) to Rp11,080 per kg.
