10 Provinces with the Highest Chicken Egg Prices (Friday, March 31, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 32,370 per kg, data as of Friday, March 31, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 31,710 per kg.

The daily price of chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 49,000 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of chicken eggs in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 27,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in East Nusa Tenggara, the price of chicken eggs was sold at Rp 42,950 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of chicken eggs in Gorontalo was Rp 39,850 per kg, West Papua Rp 37,350 per kg, and Southeast Sulawesi Rp 35,850 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 18 provinces with chicken egg sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest chicken egg selling prices are West Sulawesi, Jambi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
