Banten Regional Food Prices Monday (Sept 1): Chicken Meat Prices Up, Red Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (Sept 1, 2025) at 12:08 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 21 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were mackerel, broiler chicken meat, and imported dried soybean seeds.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, consumption sugar, bulk cooking oil, red bird''s eye chili, and frozen imported buffalo meat decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Imported dried soybean seeds saw the highest increase of Rp100 (0.87%) to Rp11,600 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices experienced the deepest decline of Rp5,277 (13.68%) to Rp33,286 per kg.
