Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Wednesday (10/9): Red Chili Prices Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (10/9/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include pure beef, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, red cayenne pepper, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, packaged cooking oil, premium rice, mackerel, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Farmer-level corn surged the highest by Rp6,133 (inf%) to Rp6,133 per kg. Skipjack tuna prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,134 (3.29%) to Rp33,333 per kg.
