The Directorate General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reports that 10 ministries/institutions (K/L) had the highest spending realization throughout 2023. This spending realization is based on the percentage against the revised K/L's Budget Implementation List (DIPA) ceiling.
According to the *APBN Kita* report, the interim realization of K/L spending throughout 2023 reached Rp1.153,46 trillion, a 6.34% increase year-on-year (yoy).
The interim realization of K/L spending last year even reached 115.25% of the budget stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 75 of 2023, which amounted to Rp1.000,84 trillion.
Citing the Directorate General of Budget's Instagram account (@ditjenanggaran), Kemenkeu, the realization of central government spending from the State Budget (APBN) disbursed by K/L reached almost 100% in some K/L. This spending was used to accelerate priority development spending and maintain public purchasing power.
The Directorate General of Budget stated that the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) was the K/L with the highest spending realization in 2023. Its realization was Rp295.10 billion, or 100% of the budget ceiling.
This was followed by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), and the National Resilience Institute, as shown in the graph above.
The following is a list of the 10 Ministries/Institutions (K/L) with the highest spending realization throughout 2023:
1. Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), realization: Rp 295.10 billion or 100% of the ceiling.
2. Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), realization: Rp4,614.03 billion or 99.81% of the ceiling.
3. National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas), realization: Rp184.66 billion or 99.56% of the ceiling.
4. National Standard Laboratory of Units of Measurement (SNSU) National Standardization Agency (BSN), realization: Rp219.52 billion or 99.52% of the ceiling.
5. Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, realization: Rp329.42 billion or 99.50% of the ceiling.
6. National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM), realization: Rp2,199.09 billion or 99.41% of the ceiling.
7. Aruk Cross-Border Post (PLBN), realization: Rp247.66 billion or 99.41% of the ceiling.
8. Constitutional Court (MK), realization: Rp407.19 billion or 99.33% of the ceiling.
9. Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), realization: Rp1,316.85 billion or 99.22% of the ceiling.
10. National Institute of Public Administration (LAN), realization: Rp329.09 billion or 99.21% of the ceiling.
