Today's Food Prices in West Java: Sugar Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (31/12/2024) at 09.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, farmer-level corn, pure beef, SPHP rice, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, red chilies, garlic bulbs, mackerel fish, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn prices saw the highest increase of Rp220 (3.85%) to Rp5,930 per kg. Red chili prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp5,300 (7.5%) to Rp65,400 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp33,990 per kg (down 7.43%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,370 per kg (down 0.72%)
11. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp18,260 per liter (down 0.54%)
