Indonesia's Daily Food Price List: Onion and Rice Prices Drop (Saturday, April 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/4/2024) at 09.31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, pure beef, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp2,270 (4.0%) to Rp59,010 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt decreased the most by Rp350 (3.01%) to Rp11,260 per kg.
