Today's Food Prices (05/2) in Jambi: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Red Chili Falls

Several food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 5, 2026) at 13:26 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Only red bird's eye chili saw a price increase.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as shallots, curly red chili, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices rose the most by Rp2,000 (3.31%) to Rp62,500 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp7,500 (15.15%) to Rp42,000 per kg.
