Latest Food Prices in West Java: Egg and Onion Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (June 3, 2024) at 08:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, milkfish, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp1,560 (4.28%) to Rp38,030 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp3,990 (10.11%) to Rp35,490 per kg.
