The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs reported that the realization of Ministry/Institution (K/L) spending as of the end of August 2022 reached Rp 575.8 trillion.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that this realization consisted of personnel expenditure amounting to Rp 170.5 trillion. This achievement increased by 4.8% year-on-year (yoy).
Next, the realization of goods expenditure was recorded at Rp 221.9 trillion, or a decrease of 13% yoy. This realization consists of other goods expenditure of Rp 161.1 trillion and the national economic recovery program of Rp 60.9 trillion.
"This utilization is in the Ministry of Health for patient claims, health worker incentives, and vaccinations; then the Ministry of Defense at Rp 24.3 trillion for defense equipment. Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance at Rp 31.1 trillion related to biodiesel and LPDP scholarships, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs at Rp 13.4 trillion related to the BOS program," said Airlangga, as quoted from Kontan.co.id, Tuesday (11/10).
Furthermore, Airlangga said that the realization of capital expenditure amounted to Rp 87.4 trillion, or an increase of 3.8% yoy. Specifically, this budget utilization was for equipment and machinery of Rp 39.9 trillion in the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
Then, for the construction of buildings worth Rp 10.5 trillion in the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and Polri, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. There was also utilization for road, network, and irrigation development amounting to Rp 30.3 trillion in the Ministry of PUPR and the Ministry of Transportation.
Meanwhile, Airlangga explained that the realization of revenue in the State Budget (APBN) until the end of August 2022 reached Rp 1,764.8 trillion. The details are: tax revenue of Rp 1,378 trillion (including income tax of Rp 1,171 trillion and excise duties of Rp 206.2 trillion), and non-tax state revenue (PNBP) of Rp 386 trillion, while state expenditure was Rp 1,657 trillion.
"Thus, there is a primary balance of Rp 342.1 trillion and Indonesia had a surplus of Rp 107.4 trillion in August," said Airlangga.
