Food Prices Friday (29/8) Bali Region: Chicken Meat and Sugar Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to rise compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (29/8/2025) at 10:56 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include milkfish, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour, consumption salt, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, bulk cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), premium rice, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red chili pepper commodity rose the highest by Rp570 (2.03%) to Rp28,700 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil dropped the sharpest by Rp698 (3.59%) to Rp18,737 per liter.
