Red Chili Pepper Prices in Central Sulawesi Increased by 14.95% in a Week

The price of red chili peppers in Central Sulawesi reached Rp 84,950 per kg on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Compared to other regions, this area showed the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of red chili peppers in Central Sulawesi increased by 14.95% within a week.

Compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of red chili peppers in this region has increased by 20.07%.

However, over the past year, the selling price of red chili peppers in Central Sulawesi's modern markets has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 99,650 per kg.

In January 2022, the price of red chili peppers in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 20.07% compared to the previous month.

The price of red chili peppers reached its lowest point at Rp 73,900 per kg on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. The highest price ever reached was around Rp 84,950 per kg.
