D.I. Yogyakarta Food Prices Saturday (18/10): Cooking Oil Prices Rise, Red Chili Drops

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (18/10/2025) at 14:30 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, Minyakita, milkfish, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, broiler chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, curly red chili, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The bulk cooking oil commodity saw the highest increase, by Rp97 (0.58%) to Rp16,755 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili saw the sharpest decrease, by Rp1,891 (3.76%) to Rp48,409 per kg.
