Latest Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Salt, Cooking Oil, and Chilies Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (3/11/2024) at 08.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, shallots, medium-grain rice, premium rice, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as cayenne pepper, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp4,720 (12.88%) to Rp41,380 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean seeds (import) fell the most sharply by Rp870 (8.77%) to Rp9,050 per kg.
