West Java Food Prices Wednesday (25/12): Prices of Oil, Eggs, and Beef Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (25/12/2024) at 09.22 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, tongkol fish, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, red chilies, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp8,260 (22.48%) to Rp45,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most, by Rp4,290 (41.69%) to Rp6,000 per kg.

1. Pure Beef: Rp130,000 per kg (down 1.7%)
2. Red Chili: Rp45,000 per kg (down 21.18%)
3. Milkfish: Rp45,000 per kg (up 22.48%)
4. Red Onion: Rp40,000 per kg (up 2.96%)
5. Curly Red Chili: Rp40,000 per kg (down 17.3%)
6. Mackerel: Rp40,000 per kg (down 0.97%)
7. Tongkol Fish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 9.65%)
8. Broiler Chicken: Rp38,000 per kg (up 2.54%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp35,000 per kg (down 13.41%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,000 per kg (down 2.18%)
11. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp19,000 per liter (up 3.15%)
12. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (up 0.9%)
13. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (down 2.54%)
