Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Prices of Sugar, Cooking Oil, and Beef Rise

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (16/7/2024) at 09.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), pure beef, curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most, by Rp5,280 (17.77%) to Rp35,000 per kg. The price of red chilies decreased the most sharply, by Rp640 (1.06%) to Rp59,460 per kg.
