Bali Food Prices Wednesday (January 8th): What's the Price of Onions?

The price of several food commodities in Bali today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (8/1/2025) at 09.16 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, Indian mackerel, (loose) wheat flour, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices increased the most, by Rp2,200 (5.36%) to Rp43,270 per kg. The price of (loose) wheat flour decreased the most, by Rp1,650 (16.27%) to Rp8,490 per kg.
