Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Oil and Chili Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 16:12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are SPHP rice, red chilies, medium rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,820 (13.59%), reaching Rp40,280 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price drop of Rp2,260 (11.91%), reaching Rp16,710 per kg.
