What was the actual tax revenue for the first semester of 2018?

State revenue from taxes up to the first semester of 2018 reached 40%, or approximately Rp 632.5 trillion, of the target in the State Budget (APBN) of Rp 1,579.4 trillion. Meanwhile, the realization of state revenue from tax and non-tax receipts reached 40.4%, or Rp 653.5 trillion, of the APBN target of Rp 1,618.1 trillion.

Income tax realization was the highest compared to other taxes. In the government's report on the implementation of the APBN for the first semester of 2018, income tax achievement amounted to 42.03%, or Rp 359.4 trillion, of the targeted Rp 855.13 trillion. This was followed by value-added tax, with an achievement of 40.26%, or Rp 218.12 trillion, of the target of Rp 541.8 trillion.

Meanwhile, the realization of other tax revenues reached 38.45%, or Rp 3.73 trillion, of the target in the APBN of Rp 9.69 trillion. Then, the realization of state revenue from excise duties reached 32.79%, or Rp 50.96 trillion, of the target of Rp 155.4 trillion, and land and building tax (PBB) only reached 1.68%, or Rp 29 billion, of the target of Rp 17.37 trillion. The low achievement of PBB revenue is due to the PBB payment deadline on August 31.
