Price of Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of fresh layer chicken eggs in traditional markets in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DI Yogyakarta) is recorded at Rp28,75 thousand. This price remained unchanged compared to the previous day as well as in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh layer chicken eggs in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp29,25 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh layer chicken eggs in traditional markets in DI Yogyakarta over the past three months has increased by 11% from the previously traded price of Rp25,9 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh layer chicken eggs in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2021 with an increase of 13.23%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2022 with a decrease of -11.02%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods in DI Yogyakarta today shows that two commodities have decreased and 15 others have increased. The staple foods with decreased prices are Cooking Oil and Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1.
