Today's Food Prices, December 02, in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (2/12/2025) at 14:52 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are red bird's eye chili, Minyakita cooking oil, Honan garlic, shallots, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili surged the highest by Rp3,416 (5.67%) to Rp63,633 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the most by Rp650 (1.09%) to Rp58,767 per kg.
